Butt-welding machines and accessories

Hürner Italia S.r.l. has grouped all of the head-to-head welding machines, dividing them by their various lines of application:

• pressure lines;
• high-purity lines;
• drainage systems;

This line includes manual, semi-automatic, and automatic welding machines, starting from the smaller HSTT 160 and culminating with the HSTT 1600, which is Hürner Italia S.r.l.’s latest standard welder. For welding above the dimensions of OD 1600 mm, a relevant welding machine is available for hire from Hürner Italia S.r.l. if supply pipes need to be joined. Currently, the largest OD is 2500 mm NP 10 in PE 100 material.

In addition to welding machines, all of the necessary equipment for the laying of the methane gas or drinking water distribution network in PE, beginning from the scraper to the pipe squeezer and reshapes are available . Accessories such as pipe cutters, aligners, rounding rings, tube roller supports, etc make part of the delivery program.

There are special IR welders for specific applications, which use infra-red rays that do not come into contact with the heat terminals, ensuring the fusion of materials without any external impurities.

These automatic machines are available in two versions: for head-to-head joints without balloons forming a bead of a minimum height that are available in the work context of OD 20-110 mm, OD 110-250 mm and OD 110-315 or the model with balloons that performs joins without the forming of beads, either inside or out, in the OD 20-63 mm range, which can be extended to OD 110 mm. All machines are fitted with welding parameter recorders that can be printed as either a record or a label to be applied next to the joint.

Three models are available for drainage systems; HSTS 160, 200 and 315 mm welding machines. The machines are manually operated and are designed for welding joints and pipes for drainage systems in PE and PP.
