Cross – current scrubbing

Waste gases generated from industrial processes or recycling’s plants, could sometimes contain a multitude of unpleasant odoriferous components. The cleaning process of such gases should be selected and designed according to the reactivity of these substances. In most cases of application a three stage purge has proved to be effective by using the acid-oxidative-alkaline principle. The alkaline-reacting substances, like amines and ammonia, are dislocated by stage one. Stage two then realizes an oxidative splitting of the less water-soluble substances. Finally, the oxidation products, together with the excess oxidation medium, are retained by the third alkaline stage. The waste gas is without odors when discharged from the system.
