Hürner Italia S.r.l. centrifugal fans mainly consist of a
PES – Self-extinguishing Polyethylene – casing made with a rotational molding
process. When high-performance is required, the material can be PP, PPS, PPS EL
or PVC.
The impeller for standard fans is always made of
injection molded PPS (self-extinguishing Polypropylene) and for large sizes
only impeller are welded in thermoplastics. Otherwise FRP or CRP – fiberglass reinforced
polyester or carbon fibers reinforced
polyester - are selected, according to the performance to be provided. The shaft
seal for specific fans can be supplied in various executions.
The impeller is linked to the motor shaft either
directly or indirectly through a compact flange double-bearing housing and
belts. The metal framework supporting the fan is either painted or zinc plated
and comes with rubber dampers for fixing to the base. EC-class motors up to 2.2
kW with built-in converter are available and guarantee the fan high efficiency
and low energy consumption.
Additionally, the nominal airflow of fans is designed to achieve performance >70%: using an converter, airflows and heads can be adjusted, so the fan performance changes greatly.
If an ATEX Group II Category 2 and 3 version is
required for works in explosion areas or with dangerous fluids, this version
can be delivered with the relevant certification thanks to the appropriate
selection of anti-static materials.
