The roof centrifugal fan of the Hürner Italia S.r.l. line
is a true roof fan with a maximum airflow of 50,000 m3/h with a
total pressure of up to 1,400 Pa.
Contrary to axial fan, this model can create
depression also in long ducts thanks to its high total pressure. The program
includes a specific shelf for this fan, which is used as a base on which the
fan is bolted for installation on flat and sloping roofs.
Also in this case, the motor is positioned in a
conical casing, which is fixed to a metal base covered by an external cone.
Electrical connection is provided by two hoses, which also guarantee the
cooling of the motor. The impeller is usually made of injection molded PPS – self-extinguishing
Polypropylene homopolymer – or welded in different materials depending on the
material of the external casing.
Standard materials are: PVC – Polyvinyl chloride -, PPS and PES – self-extinguishing Polypropylene and Polyethylene -; these fans are also made of PPS EL – anti-static and the self-extinguishing Polypropylene random copolymer - for ATEX executions.
