The PFA – Perfluoroalcoxy - line is an excellent chemical resistance material at such high temperatures have started many applications in large flow reduction plants, particularly in case of SO2 condensation, which turns into H2SO4.
The operating temperature ranges are from -190°C to 250°C. Thanks these high temperatures, PFA is often used to line large ducts or metal equipment, where the liner is mechanically fixed.
PFA material as sheets and pipes are very elastic and are based on the fiberglass mesh backing system; it can be reinforced with thermosetting resins .
The pipes are available from OD 32 to 110 mm , the normally sheets has wall thickness from 0,8 to 2,3 mm , the rolled sheets only 1,5 and 2,0 mm Wall thickness.
