ANTICOR HDPE liner is the most commonly used material for lining concrete structures and it is normally produced in black, yellow, gray, and light blue. Co-extruded liners with various color combinations are also available, normally keeping the lighter color facing the inside of the structure; this facilitates internal visibility of the pipeline during welding, inspection and maintenance. In addition to the liner in sheet form, the same liner is also available in 52 m rolls with widths to be defined, with minimum numbers of rolls per order for non-standard widths. Thicknesses vary between 3 and 12 mm and in addition to a smooth inner surface, liners are also available with anti-slip layers, with self-cleaning zones and with polyester fabric backed for bonding or fiberglass reinforcement.
The light blue ANTICOR PE80 liner is approved for drinking water and is only available in 5.0 mm thickness sheet.
In addition to the method of embedding the anchors in the concrete, in recent times the ANTICOR LIGHT system has been applied in a 4.0 mm thick PE80 light blue color version, based on simply placing the liner anchors on a flat surface, clamping the sheets with specific profiles, mounted in advance to accommodate the sheets with their mushroom-head buttons in the groove of the pre-mounted profile. This makes it possible to preassemble large surface areas with ease, welding the joints in a subsequent operation.
The ANTICOR PE - EL line is a lining solution for ATEX classified areas in which culverts or storage tanks continuously receive highly flammable liquids, and where a spark can result in explosion of the air above the conveyed liquid. This material can be grounded and is available in 3.0 and 5.0 mm thicknesses in standard sheet format.
All joints are made with the same type of material, thus providing absolute assurance of perfect conductivity of the entire liner.
