Lining ANTICOR

For chemical protection of circular, ovoid, pipes culvert-section, manholes and many other concrete constructions, the ANTICOR liner has proven to be a viable and easy-to-apply solution. This product stands apart from other coating systems because of its long-lasting protection benefits and low cost.

In addition to coating new structures, this system can also be applied to existing elements, thereby reconditioning deteriorated infrastructure without having to rebuild from scratch.

The principle of adherence to concrete is based on locking of the anchors present on the ANTICOR liner sheets and extruded at the same time as the liner is produced. The V-shaped anchors are available in various heights and with three mechanical stiffness ratings, which no other product on the market can offer. The pull-out force of the liner from the concrete varies between 48 and 86 MPa in accordance with the material and the design of the anchors. For liner application in areas with the presence of potable groundwater, double-sealed liners can be used, currently only possible using HDPE material.

The ANTICOR liner is available in various materials starting with HDPE - high density polyethylene, PE80 with light blue coloring, PE - EL – antistatic polyethylene, PPR – polypropylene copolymer, PVDF FLEX – elasticized polyvinylidene fluoride, and ending with ECTFE – ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene. The most commonly applied material is HDPE in various color combinations such as yellow/black or black/white or single color black, grey, yellow or light blue.

Light colors are used for sewers, in order to facilitate maintenance operations inside the pipeline. In addition to the method of embedding the anchors in the concrete, recent years have seen the use of the ANTICOR LIGHT system, based on simply placing the liner on a flat surface and locking the sheets with specific profiles, which are mounted beforehand to accommodate the sheets with their mushroom-head buttons in the groove of the pre-mounted profile. This makes it possible to preassemble large surface areas with ease, welding the joints in a subsequent operation.
