PE EL

Anti-static polyethylene PE 80 has been designed for specific applications, like conveyance of liquids or flammable gases or installations of piping in explosion areas. This material is an excellent electrical conductor and can be connected with grounding grids for discharging electric charges that form inside or outside pipes. Therefore, PE EL is a material that falls under 94/9 EC – ATEX Directives, provided the whole piping is effectively grounded.

The main application of PE EL piping is the collection and conveyance of drainage liquid out of controlled waste damps and also for the suction of solvent vapors in pharmaceutical industries. These are just some applications of anti-static PE, where this material has shown excellent mechanical and chemical resistance.
