PP

PP - polypropylene - has been successful as a universal material for many applications in the industrial field and nowadays manufacturing process piping without this material seems unthinkable. The Hürner Italia S.r.l. program includes a very large range of injection molded PPR - polypropylene random copolymer - fittings up to OD 500 mm NP 10, according to DIN 16962 Teil 1-13 standard and PPH - polypropylene homopolymer - extruded pipes up to OD 1400 mm PN 2.5 bar according to DIN 8077 and DIN 8078 standards, which, as for the PP section, are subject to UNI EN ISO 15494 application standard.

This line includes, in addition to fittings and pipes, also several types of valves, including ball valves – UNI EN ISO 16135 -, butterfly valves - UNI EN ISO 16136 -, check valves - UNI EN ISO 16137 -, diaphragm valves – UNI EN ISO 16138 - and globe valves - UNI EN ISO 21787. In addition to standard shapes, other types are available, like wafer swing check valves, tee diaphragm valves with zero dead space, automated valves with electric or pneumatic actuators - pressure reducers, overpressure valves, and so on. The program also includes all direction and control components.

Hürner Italia S.r.l. PPH and PPR pipes, fittings and valves, which are certified, fully comply with the European regulations mentioned in Directive 97/23/EC on the PED - Pressure Equipment Directive - homologation and approval.

The PP line also includes semi-finished products, like extruded and pressed sheets, welding rods, round and hollow bars.
