PP

The PP line, which is subdivided into two subgroups, PPR and PPH, is used in the chemical industry, where stresses due to temperature and operating pressure are high. Fittings are mostly made of PPR - polypropylene random copolymer – up to OD 500 mm NP 10 bar, while extruded pipe is made of PPH polypropylene homopolymer up to OD 1400 mm PN 2.5 bar. Both materials can be welded to each other and the other PP compounds.

PP-HP is available in the PPR-HP and PPH-HP - high purity – versions, which come in all shapes and sizes that are mostly used in the microchip production, since the process water must be not polluted while it is conveyed from the purifying unit to the production machine. These materials, and particularly PPS EL – anti-static and self-extinguishing polypropylene random copolymer - and PPS - self-extinguishing polypropylene homopolymer- are widely used also in the pharmaceutical industry. PPS EL complies with the ATEX requirements for explosion areas.

PPN – naturale polypropylene - is mostly used in the food industry because it is injection molded or extruded without the inclusion of additives, thus it remains natural. This line, like the other lines, includes pipes, fittings, valves and semi-finished products.
