PVC-C

PVC-C - Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride - is obtained from the chlorination process of PVC and features high resistance to corrosion in the conveyance of chemicals while retains excellent mechanical properties for operating temperatures ranging from -10°C to +100°C.

PVC-C meets the requirements of Directive 90/128/EEC and is physiologically usable with food products. Moreover, it is FDA - FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION - and FM - FACTORY MUTUAL - approved.

The fire resistance rating is B1 according to DIN 4102 standard and V-0 according to UL 94 standard, so this material is classified as self-extinguishing.

In the Hürner Italia S.r.l. program the maximal pipe and fittings sizes are OD 110 mm NP 16, while the max. valve size is ND 50 mm NP 16 bar.
