Manufacturing concrete piping with the ANTICOR thermoplastic liner does not change at all because of the introduction of the liner. If a reduced tee 90° branch is necessary, the base and the branch must be lined separately and then the two concrete pieces are joined, while the liner is finally welded internally for perfect hydraulic sealing.
If the duct is a sewer line with particular problems of conveying the solid content in the liquid, the Hürner Italia Srl offer includes a liner that is characterized by the presence, in the lower part of the duct, of a self-cleaning surface and fast discharge area. This way, a larger flow of liquid and an obstacle to the formation of sediment are guaranteed.
The Hürner Italia Srl ANTICOR liner is designed to resist external pressure for ducts that are laid out in case of groundwater. Such a resistance to external pressure is achieved thanks to the type of V-shaped stud systems and now achieves the value of 1.5 bar, which no other thermoplastic liner can currently boast.
A great benefit of the ANTICOR liner is the biaxial position of the studs, which guarantees the outflow of any external liquid downwards; no liner with continuous axial extruded profiles can guarantee this characteristic. The reason being that this axial extruded system creates external cells or areas that generate an extra pressure between the concrete and the liner, with the risk that the liner may separate from the concrete.
