The Hürner Italia S.r.l. ventilation line includes the most common materials used in making suction systems for the industrial sector and public buildings, like university labs, etc.
The purpose of this line is providing designers, installers and interested customers with state-of-the-art air conveyance technology to facilitate their work using novelties when making their systems.
The ventilation line uses the following thermoplastics: PVC - Polyvinyl chloride -, PP - Polypropylene -, PE - Polyethylene - and PVDF - Polyvinylidene fluoride - . In addition to these basic materials, some PP compounds are also available, like PPS - Self-extinguishing Polypropylene -, PPS EL - Anti-static and self-extinguishing polypropylene - and, to a lesser extent, PVC-B - White polyvinyl chloride -. Some shapes of the components that belong to the Hürner Italia S.r.l. line are made of a PE compound, like PES - Self-extinguishing Polyethylene - which are only used for radial and roof centrifugal fans.
Components are divided into three main groups, which are identified by the connection technique: butt fusion welding , hot air socket welding with filler rods and socket gluing. The first technique is used for materials like PPS EL and PVDF, the second for materials like PP, PPS, PPS EL, PE, PVDF, PVC, and PVC-B, while the third is only used for PVC / PVC-B up to OD 315 mm.
This line is based on the idea to offering the designer components that are optimized to carry out an installation with the lowest energy consumption in the field. Therefore, Hürner Italia S.r.l. has mostly included components with low air pressure drop, a feature that is visible in bends, which are manufactured by injection or thermoformed in a single piece without segments; the largest fittings diameter is actually OD 1000 mm. For larger sizes, there is no other option but using segmented fittings. Concentric reducers feature no strong diameter variations with consequent tight angles; this help to reduce the pressure drop.
