Our industrial line ranges from products made of thermoplastics materials like PP, PVDF, ECTFE, FEP, PFA and PVC and their respective compounds like PPS, PPS EL and PPN all the way to specific high purity materials as PP-HP and PFA-HP, which features extremely low surface roughness. Moreover, we also offer PVDF – UHP products, characterized by an even lower roughnes, and which is in fact referred as "ultra-high purity" material, suitable for very specific applications, and PVDF-EL, which are electro-conductive. Finally PVC and its PVC-C compound, closes the HÜRNER ITALIA SRL industrial program with all of its components as described below.
We offer a complete line of pipes. All are obtained through extrusion techniques, and could be prepared to be reinforced through FRP. Details about relative materials and applications of such reinforced pipes could be seen in out catalog under "FRP lining".
The size range of the fittings belonging to this industrial line depends on the specific subgroup, as indicated below:
- PP Copolymer (PPR) injection molded - butt welding fittings : OD 20 – OD 500 mm PN 3.2 - 6 and 10 bar, PPR-HP: OD 20 – OD 315 mm PN 10 bar; PPS EL: OD 32 – OD 315 mm PN 3.2 – 6 and 10 bar; PPS: OD 20 – OD 160 mm PN 10 bar; PPN: OD 20 – OD 110 mm PN 10 bar;
- Homopolymer (PPH) butt welding formed fittings - extruded pipe OD 560 – OD 1400 mm PN 2.5 - 3.2 and 4 bar
- PPR electrofusion fittings OD 20 – OD 355 mm PN 10 bar
- PPR socket fusion fittings OD 20 – OD 110 mm PN 10 bar
- PVDF and PVDF-UHP injection molded - butt welding fittings OD 20 – OD 315 mm PN 10 and 16 bar;
- PVDF and PVDF-UHP electrofusion fittings OD 20 – OD 63 mm PN 16 bar
- PVDF socket fusion fittings OD 20 – OD 110 mm PN 20 bar
- PVDF butt or hot air welding liner fittings - injection molded with FRP strengthening chemical treatment OD 20 - OD 250 mm
- ECTFE butt welding fittings - injection molded OD 20 – OD 160 mm PN 10 bar; OD 160 mm PN 3,2 bar, OD 110 mm PN 5 bar
- PVC socket fittings – injection molded OD 10 – OD 400 mm PN 4-6-10 and 16 bar; PVC-C Socket fittings: OD 20-110 mm PN 16 bar
The PPR/PPH and PVDF industrial lines are used in the chemical industry, where stresses are extremely high due to operating temperature and pressure. PPN is most commonly found in the food industry, where the material is not compounded and remains natural.
Products made of PVDF - UHP (Ultra High Purity) and PPR-HP (high purity) are available for all size range and are mostly used in production units of electronic components, since process water must suffer any contamination while being conveyed from the purifying units to the manufacturing machine. These materials, in addition to PPS EL (anti-static and self-extinguishing) and PPS (self-extinguishing), are very popular also in the pharmaceutical industry. In particular PPS EL complies with the ATEX provisions for explosion risk areas. This also applies to PVDF-EL.
ECTFE is highly suitable for applications where temperatures exceed 120°C and is particularly resistant to the chemical attack of halogens.
Furthermore, for higher operating temperatures, standard size PVDF, PVDF-EL, FEP, and PFA pipes can be reinforced with fiberglass, through the FRP process.
PVC and PVC-C are commonly used in process lines under moderate temperature (~60°C), while PVC-C can be used up to 90°C. This material is chemically very resistant, particularly against free chlorine.
Types of joints: fixed by welding or chemical bonding or movable by flanged fittings, threaded unions or ends.
This line includes the following of shut-off valves (available both in manual or actuated versions):
- ball valves up to DN 100 mm,
- butterfly valves up to DN 250 mm,
- check valves up to DN 250 mm,
- diaphragm valves up to DN 125 mm,
- T-membrane valves up to DN 150/50 mm
The industrial line includes a wide range of semi-finished products, like extruded and pressed sheets up to 130 mm thickness, sheets designed for being reinforced with FRP, round bars, hollow rods and welding rod.
Our offer includes, in addition to these main components, flow-meters; fixed, loose and blind flanges, gaskets and clips for plastic piping.
